چکیده

A practical calibration method for multi-axis force/torque sensors is presented. The on-site calibration of multi-axis force/torque sensors can be difficult, as many methods require precise knowledge of all force and moment components resulting from an applied load. Here, a method is presented that requires knowledge of only one component of the applied force. The method is based on decomposition of the components of the calibration matrix and is simple to implement. The effectiveness of this method has been confirmed experimentally.

The Shape from Motion Approach to Rapid and Precise Force/Torque Sensor Calibration

ABSTRACT We present a new technique for multi-axis force/torque sensor calibration called shape from motion. The novel aspect of this technique is that it does not require explicit knowledge of the redundant applied load vectors, yet it retains the noise rejection of a highly redundant data set and the rigor of least squares. The result is a much faster, slightly more accurate calibration proce...

Shape from Motion Approach to Rapid and Precise Force/Torque Sensor Calibration

We present a new technique for multi-axis force/torque sensor calibration called shape from motion. This technique retains the noise rejection of a highly redundant data set but eliminates the need for explicit knowledge of the redundant applied load vectors, yielding faster, more accurate calibration results. A constant-magnitude force (a mass in a gravity field) is randomly moved through the ...

Calibration of an Inertial Accelerometer using Trained Neural Network by Levenberg-Marquardt Algorithm for Vehicle Navigation

The designing of advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous vehicles needs measurement of dynamical variations of vehicle, such as acceleration, velocity and yaw rate. Designed adaptive controllers to control lateral and longitudinal vehicle dynamics are based on the measured variables. Inertial MEMS-based sensors have some benefits including low price and low consumption that make them ...

اندازه گیری گشتاور لازم برای بازکردن درب شیشه های دهان پهن و ارتباط آن با ویژگی های آنتروپومتریک و فیزیولوژیک مؤثر

Introduction: Nine percent of all available packaging are jars with steel lids. However, some consumers have trouble with jar opening. The aim of the current research was to analyze the exerting force on jar lids regarding the torque input to the anthropometric and physiological characteristics of the consumers. Methods: In this study, the force distributed on the fingers and the palm was ex...

Comparison of Single- site and Multi-site Based Calibrations of SWAT in Taleghan Watershed, Iran

Calibration of model is critical for hydrologic modeling of large watersheds in a mountain watershed. In this study Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) used to comparison a single-site calibration procedure that employed streamflow measurement at outlet of watershed to a multi-site calibration method that used streamflow measurements at three stations (Galinak, Joestan and Dehdar). Results sh...
